IPD liners are exceptionally superior to OEM Caterpillar liners. We use these liners in lots of our high HP builds. The 159-9778 liner is .001 oversize to give the piston more room for expansion if you are making over the 600hp mark. All IPD liners are plateau honed for quick ring seal and long service.
