Brand New not remanufactured! Our cylinder heads may not be casted in the USA but we only use the best casting companies to supply our bare castings. Every head we sell goes thru a machine shop in the USA, and gets loaded with premium Inconel valves, Premium Hardened seats, guides and new dual concentric valve springs to keep vibration and harmonics in check. We know this is what makes Our cylinder heads stand out from the crowd. Most of our competitors just import their heads, already loaded with some cheap subpar valve train components that will make them the most profit. We believe in quality over quantity, we only sell what we use in our own shop!
This head is fire ringed, which is a small stainless steel ring that pressed into a groove that is machined into the head. The stainless ring protrudes out of the head and crushes into the head gasket just behind where it seals combustion in the cylinder. This helps back up the head gasket fire ring, aiding in a more stabile head gasket. Think of the fire ring as a brace on a dam wall that will keep pressure from blowing out the dam wall when extra pressure is added.
