This kit replaces the 2 piece articulated piston design to a 1 piece steel piston similar to the piston used in a C15 Acert. The pistons in this kit are more durable compared to the 2 piece design for applications where cylinder scuffing is more likely to occur. We highly recommend this kit for any rebuild for over the road or high performance applications.
